There's a test people swear by before buying Shilajit: drop a small piece in warm water. Real resin dissolves completely, with no grit, no film, no residue floating on top. Fake or heavily cut Shilajit often leaves something behind — sand, resin substitute, or a cloudy film that never fully breaks down.
We'd heard this test mentioned constantly in customer questions, so we did it ourselves, on our own product, filmed start to finish, before ever putting it on this page. The honest reason we're showing you this: a water test at home is a good first check, but it can't tell you what's actually in the resin at a molecular level. For that, you need something more than a glass of warm water.
